How this works
Sand goes into concrete, blockwork and plaster, and the choice between manufactured sand and river sand is a technical one rather than a preference. It also arrives by tipper or truck, so the loading and discharge on site matter.
For a sand enquiry, tell us the volume or the tonnage, the application, whether it is for concrete, blockwork or plaster, and how it will be delivered. Zone or river sand is restricted in some applications, and the specification your mix design uses decides what is acceptable.
Sand is sourced on demand from quarries and suppliers against the volume and the application. Availability and the supply route are confirmed by the supplier before we issue a quotation.
The minimum quantity and its effect on the price are stated with the quotation. Whether test certificates can be provided for the material supplied is confirmed in the same conversation.
